I am a pathologist. Taxidermy is a hobby most appropriate for a pathologist.
As soon as I realized this fact, I taxidermied my first mouse. The picture of this mouse is above. It was given a "second" life on August 20, 2022.
It looked so cute, even my mother liked it. She said that this mouse needs a crown and she even drew a sketch:
After shocking some people at work, I realized I need to tell them that I didn't kill this poor mouse. Mice are just too cute to kill. I bought it already dead at the pet store, where they sell them frozen as reptile food.
Of course I checked with the TN Wildlife Resources Agency and I received a written confirmation that I don't any permits for what I am doing and planning to do (mice, squirrels, maybe deer).
